Firstly, I avoid aerosols.
But fine-mist spraying a 100% oil like sunflower oil, olive oil, etc, needs high pressure.
There are 2 types of "oil sprayer" bottles:
Type 1: Pressure is created briefly by pulling a lever with your finger. Pressure is low and irregular. Useless for fine-mist spraying of 100% oils. Unfortunately, 99% of the "oil sprayers" out there are of Type 1.
Type 2: Pressure is pumped up in the bottle and stored before spraying. To spray you use a button, just like on an aerosol, it sprays continuously as long as you hold the button down. Pressure is higher and regular, so fine-mist spraying of 100% oils is possible.
Type 1 bottles cost £5-£12 roughly, but don't fine-mist spray 100% oils. Type 2 bottles cost £20-£40 approx, which is fine if the bottle really will fine-mist spray 100% oils.
A bit of research has come up with 3 names: Purelite, Misto and Pampered Chef.
Has anyone else solved this problem, please, namely fine-mist spraying of 100% oil?
