Just this.

not been coping with work and now life in general. On anti depressants but waiting to fully kick in (just had dose increased).

am worried about what people will say, particularly my team and direct management and also concerned for my job long term as been there less than two years

can anyone offer advice please

I wouldn't judge (been there myself) but sadly I know other people will. But don't let that stop you from doing what you need to do to get better.

They're not in your head and don't know your reality.

I would not judge at all but as an employer I would be concerned about the impact on my team.
You have been there less than 2 years so you can be sacked with no reason given BUT I think that you being off with an illness actually makes your position a bit more secure as they wont want to do anything that looks like discrimination.
I hope you feel better soon, its an awful thing to cope with without having to worry about your job too

Thanks both
