We received a heavily discounted box last week and I could not believe the difference between a box we had ordered a few years' ago.
In the past, items would say where they came from and Hello Fresh supported smaller companies - I'm sure it mentioned the provenance of the meats and you'd get small packets of West Country cheese, Isle of Wight tomatoes etc.
Last week we received a box mainly filled with veg ( a lot was going off - ie- yellow lettuce, mould tomatoes etc) and some vacuum packed chicken and minced beef which again was of poor quality and didn't even mention the country of origin. The cheeses and sauces came in very cheap Hello Fresh packaging and looked like what you get for free in a service station.
Quite frankly we paid far too high (even at the discounted price) for the quality that we received, and cancelled our subscription.
Has anyone else noticed the complete downhill turn that Hello Fresh has taken?
