Has anyone watched the 2 programmes about stalking that were on tonight?

The first statistic quoted about the fact that 2 women are killed every week in England and Wales includes the information that 94% are related to stalking. I suppose that fits with the majority of murders being perpetrated by partners or ex partners, but I hadn't realised that stalking featured so frequently.
The sheer incompetence and inaction of the police in the face of overwhelming evidence and red flags is blamed on lack of training. I would say it is down to misogyny and indifference.

Watched the first one. I did a lot of shouting at the telly.

You couldn't make it up really, the way the police forces treatrd those women.

The level of misogyny everywhere is really frightening and depressing, particularly with the level of violence that seems to be acceptable. It is all talk and no action as far as I can see, wrt to the government, the police etc.
