Blocked on insta despite never interacting

I have a finsta and use it to spy on a few people. I don't use my real insta as I wouldn't want to accidentally like a post and have it tracked to me (the why of spying on these people isn't relevant, but I promise I am not a stalker or weirdo)
Today I noticed one account is missing on my finsta but viewable from my main account. My finsta has been blocked! I've never interacted with this page. How and why would they have known to block me? How is insta betraying me in this way?! I need to know before I make myself look too much of a twat to these people!

I’m not entirely sure but I think people can see who is viewing their stories? Maybe I’m wrong. It certainly stops me from being nosey…!

Theyve probably noticed you always watching their stories and think it’s weird given it’s an anonymous account.

You can use third party software like Story Saver to watch stories anonymously as long as the insta account isn't private. Just a tip for all you shy would be stalkers.

Is it an influencer or someone you know? I had an influencer block me once for voting the wrong thing on a poll 🤣 and my friend has been blocked for liking a comment on a post.

As soon as I see someone viewing my stories who clearly has an account they just use for spying, I'll click on their page and block them!

I'm sure you're just doing it innocently but think about the many actual stalkers and weirdos who aren't as innocent 😂. From my POV, I have no idea who these people are!

Oh no sorry I don't watch stories! I'm not daft, I know you can see who watches stories. Literally just look at their pages every now and then. How could they have known about me looking at their page 😭 I feel betrayed by instagram 😆

One is an ex friend, one is an ex, a couple of other people no longer in my life for various reasons. I know I'm not the only one ;)

Thanks 😆 to be honest I'm not even that bothered about getting updates that I would go to this effort but I did know this existed - I used it once when DS told me about a worrying story on a peer's account and I wanted to screenshot it without the child knowing I had been on it (to report it to the school)
