How would you deal with someone ignoring you at work ? Do you think it’s unprofessional?

Someone I knew had this , it all escalated and they ended up leaving.
The person doing the ignoring initially has stayed on.
It was a strange time for them and even management didn't seem to be able to sort out their differences at all.
Do you work closely with this person op?

Yes I do and it’s been a week now of just ignoring me my anxiety is through the roof and it’s making me I’ll I spoke to management about it saying it was unprofessional and he said I was right and he wouldn’t be having that yet it’s still going on but my manager socialises with this person they are friends I’ve worked at this place for 32 years why should I leave I’m thinking of taking it higher

Don't bother. Nothing will come of it. You leave and they'll move onto someone else as victim and still nothing will come of it.

A coworker did this to me. I was absolutely disgusted that she, a woman in her 50s, would behave so childishly. I complained to management and they DID take it up with her, but unfortunately nothing changed. After a couple of months she just acted like nothing had happened.

I chose to take the high road and act my age, but I didn't shed any tears when she was later forced to resign (for various reasons).

PP is right; they will eventually move on to the next victim.

Sorry you're going through this. It's vile and the person should get a swift kick up the backside.
