Where can I get some decent clothes pegs? Mine are from Wilko and they've lasted years but they're getting brittle and starting to break now. I'd really like some Nona pegs but they would cost me £126 to buy the amount of pegs I need which is just a ridiculous sum of money to spend just on bloody pegs.

I hate the ones with rubbery grips. I find they're just not as good at keeping stuff on the line as my plain plastic ones from Wilko (never lost a thing off our line, even in these ridiculous winds we seem to get all too often.)

I know, I told you it was interesting!

I got minky ones from savers. They're just one piece of plastic if you know what I mean.
They are superb.

I'm interested!
Last three lots I've bought were rubbish.
Off to Google minky pegs.

GogAndMagog · 30/04/2024 15:17

I use the same as @vix3rd

No metal bits, sturdy and last ages!!

GogAndMagog · 30/04/2024 15:19

However Dp bought some last year which are one piece peg and had a hook to attach a clothes hanger, genius.

I'd have to ask him where he got them.

Wooden ‘dolly’ pegs all the way here. Have outlasted many other kinds I have tried. And much more kind to the environment.

I use Minky pegs from Amazon and I swear by them.
I must be getting old because I recently had an in depth conversation with my friend about peg bags 😂

When he was single, my friend's DP used to take a carrier bag full of foldback clips home from the office on a Friday night to peg out his washing on a Saturday.

So there's that.
