Appropriate gift?

What's an appropriate gift for someone who has been signed off for several weeks with potential heart issues?
To be clear this is a client. Male. Late 40's

I'd almost always send alcohol but that's out. Chocolate or cake seems inappropriate given the heart issues. Flowers nope. Restaurant vouchers seems a bit wrong too.

Fruit basket is the only thing I can think of but I got given one a few years again and I HATED IT so I'm reluctant. It stressed me out having to eat stuff that started becoming overripe almost immediately. There was a load of bananas that I'm allergic to and a crap tonne of pointless 'filler' like underripe physalis. He also doesn't seem like a fruity type if I'm honest.

Help!

Get him something to do at home - book, Airfix kit, Lego set - that type of thing.

You could do up a small hamper- men’s mag of something that might interest him. Some nice herbal tea’s , some healthier snack items. I agree it’s not an easy buy.
