So I've just been offered a job. £15k jump in salary, hybrid (mostly remote) offers flexibility etc all round seem like a nice bunch.

My dilemma. I have a 2 Yr old DS and am planning another child with in the next 2 years. Probably start trying end of this year.

I like where I am don't get me wrong. Offers flexibility and have been in this job for 7 years. Didn't apply to this was approached and decided to do an interview. Only reason being the salary increase.

I'm just... torn. Torn because I don't want to start then potentially annoy them by announcing I'm pregnant 6 months later (I'm on 6 months notice so wouldn't start until later in the year. Potentially shave that down to about 4 but i doubt less than that)

It's annoying women even think like this...

Maternity pay is much the same. Probably a little less if I move but not loads (have seen their policy in the offer) I have been there a long time so no probation period etc to worry about if I stay.

I can live on my current salary. I am underpaid but they offer me a lot in terms of flexibility. New job is slightly more responsibility but not much. Glassdoor etc all says good things about flex and the company as a while etc

I just don't know what to do! Take a jump now? Wait a few years until after (hopefully) I have had a second child and can fully get stuck into it?
