If you were friendly with a guy and could see everything on his Facebook account, now it appears I'm restricted to what I can see, although he's still very friendly on WhatsApp and he said he didn't put the restriction on, what would you do, I'm torn between unfriending him altogether, I think I'd sooner have that than just see bits, or would you believe him and can Facebook accidentally restrict you on someone's friend account or is he bare faced lying

He’s lying.

Facebook are snotty at lots of things but they don't restrict one person from someone's friend list. This is an action that he or someone with access to his profile has done.

When he said no he hasn't then why didn't he say I will check and then say 'Oh Dear! I must have pressed something by accident and I've now in-restricted you!'

He's restricted you for whatever reason.

Bare faced lying. Just stop replying and never be seen or heard from again.
