Has anybody been paid their accrued holiday separately?

I just received my last paycheck. However between having to login to a system to retrieve my payslip (and the credentials not working) and the payroll team being somewhere else (in India I think), so no real way to check in real time, I believe they've missed my accrued holiday pay. It adds up to around £1000 so not small change by any stretch.

I just wanted to know if anybody has had a situation where they just paid it separately.

As it would need to be processed for PAYE I would have expected it to show on the payslip and be within the same payment

Right, so whatever mistake they've made, it's unlikely I'll get paid soon right? As it has to follow the payroll process

Have you raised it with them? Many employers try to get away without paying accrued holiday when someone leaves in the hope that people wont chase it,

They may be able to rerun the payroll for you - we would if it's just one person and finishes off their pay.

I have yes. Unfortunately HR and payroll are spread between the US and India (nobody in the UK) so it will be hours before they reply.

They owe me 5.8 days (according to them). My final paycheck does match the total of my worked days, so I'm pretty sure it's the accrued holiday pay.

Unbelievable! They're "charging me back" for holiday days I didn't take!!

What do you mean by this? They have to pay you for untalented leave if you’ve accrued it when you finish, that’s the law.

Yes mine was paid the following month after I left

It was a mistake on their end, should be sorted out tomorrow
