Hi everyone! I'm new here. So I was looking around online and came across this forum about not driving and wanted to see who is in the same boat as me. I'm in the US btw (Ohio) no kids and use public transit, uber or lyft when I need to. The thing is I'm 35 and never learned how to drive except twice by two old friends. My situation is different since I have no vision in my right eye. I have seen YouTube videos of people where they were driving and had a similar situation. I'm usually going to work and that's it since I get groceries from work or get them delivered or I might stop by my local mall. I'm not really a club person but might wanna go out every now and then. If you don't drive, what's your reason? Do you feel restricted in life cuz of it? Sometimes I feel overwhelmed like I'm missing out since I'm still young (kinda 😂) my insurance provides rides to and from appts which is great but at times I think it must be nice to just get into a car and go.
