I've just had a weird experience and I don't know if I'm reading too much into it
I was at a gathering at a friend's house tonight. My friend is male, for context. It was a mix but mainly his partner Sarah's friends with a couple of his including me.
As I left I was standing chatting to one of her friends as we waited for our ubers. She was telling me about a romantic situation of hers then blurred out 'just like Sarahs not threatened by you'. It's extremely difficult to convey the tone on here but it was like she meant the opposite of what she was saying and it wasn't relevant to what she was saying before. Then there was an awkward tension and my uber came so I got in it. Now I'm home, it's playing on my mind. I'm hoping it's not the case but it's made me uncomfortable
Does it sound like an odd thing to say?
