Moving on from travel cot?

Dd is in a toddler bed at home. We go away a fair bit and until now she has shared a room with us in her travel cot. As she climbed out of it constantly on our last trip, I'm wondering if there is a decent toddler travel bed solution that isn't £££?

We ideally need a portable bed to stay with family as there isn't much space and no spare bed. Equally we have to drive there with a packed car so can't cope with anything huge.

Have seen blow up toddler beds from Argos for £35 - are these any good?

Can you post a link to the Argos one?

I'd just get a small blow up mattress. Some have sides, but that makes them bigger. I guess either of these ideas might be what you have in mind.

This is the Argos one which yes essentially is a blow up bed with sides. Just imagining there is some amazing product available that I've complely missed!

We had one of those Argos beds you linked OP. But we had 2 terrible sleepers who only wanted to be next to one of us, especially away from home.

We also tried a ready bed like this though I got one second hand. Again, they slept in it for 2hrs then in to bed with us but the beds are good in principle. You might need an extra blanket with this as the built in duvet/sleeping bag is thin.
