Help Finding an Obscure Kids book

I read a book in the 90s that I absolutely loved and wanted to read it to my daughter now shes approaching the same age.

I think it would be a low print, lesser known book, maybe part of a learning series. I think it was double sided and had another book on the other side. The cover was light grey and the entire book of both stories would be less than 200 pages.

The book i really wanted to find was about a young girl who had to climb a rainbow. Think she was trying to talk to the sun or the rainbow.

Thats all I remember. The book that was maybe on the other side was about a girl who was lost in the jungle.

I really want to find it but Google can't find it from that info.

It was definitely part of a series but the characters and maybe even author changed each book which is why I think its a younger child learning early chapter book.

Its probably rubbish but still want to find it. 🤣

Probably published in 80s or 90s. I read it when I was around 8 which was in 93 but book may have been bought for my older siblings.

Many thanks for all help possible on this limited info.

Possibly: My Side of the Story is the series?

I've got a Salem witch one and something about victorian workers.

I think you should find it if you search for that, but I don't recognise your story so I might be wrong

Thanks. I've found your salem witch one but no luck finding others in the series. Just finding the Disney series of the same name.
The salem witch book's cover doesn't match the series I'm thinking of and says first published in 2006.

The book definitely had a light grey cover and then a box at the bottom with a bright cartoon style picture of a pastel rainbow and a girl on the rainbow with blond hair.
