Where is my pregnancy "glow"?

26 weeks and the apparent second trimester glow/burst of energy never showed arrived. I'm starving constantly so I've probably put on exorbitant amounts of weight, I'm still getting nausea almost every day, I've had acid reflux since week 6 that I have to take omeprazole for or it's out of control, pelvic girdle pain, and apart from anything else I'm KNACKERED. I did a bit of cleaning today and it wiped me out - I've basically been lounging on my bed half the day in between meals and the odd chore. I have a nap every day (self employed, WFH so I can get away with this). My iron levels have been checked and they're fine.

I see other pregnant women going for runs and talking about how great they feel in the second trimester and I'm so jealous. I feel like an invalid! Am I alone?!

Think it's off on holiday with mine somewhere. This is my third pregnancy - I'm only 14 weeks but in previous pregnancies my sickness has been completely gone by this point and I've felt great. Currently can barely move without retching, am horrifically constipated (sorry TMI😑) and my skin is worse than it was in my teens.

5 kids deep and never got it 😂.

Everything I read about this stage is like "oh you'll be feeling great at the moment and your nausea will be totally gone!"

Yeah right. If I go longer than an hour without eating I'm dry heaving. I haven't dared weigh myself.

Also 14 weeks with baby no.3 and I’ve never had ‘the glow’ 😒

I was rubbish at being pregnant. I was never sick with either of mine but felt a bit queasy throughout both pregnancies.
With DC#1, at about 16 weeks, I suddenly became unable to finish my dinner, I was just too full and bloated after half so I had the leftovers for lunch the next day. I ate a lot of haribo throughout both to help make me feel better. My pelvis was painful for half of my pg with #1 and from week 9 with #2. . And I felt generally knackered for both pregnancies.
Don't compare yourself to others.
No one goes online to write about feeling shit, when you feel good you want to tell everyone, even if they don't want to hear it...

I never had the glow.

I also never had the raging libido I was promised from about 12 weeks.

14 years on I still do not have a glow or libido.

Mine went similarly, and to ice off the cake I got Bell's Palsy at 39 weeks so had half my face paralysed. 👌

Never got the glow with either pregnancy, also didn’t get a nesting phase. When I was expecting my first I still lived in a flat and the girl upstairs was pregnant was the same as me, our due dates were about 2 weeks apart, and I used to hear her hoovering multiple times a day, every day, while I lay on the couch wondering if another ginger nut would solve my ‘morning’ sickness.
