Came across one today where a woman was clearly grieving the death of someone.
Quickly realised the person who had passed was her teenage daughters boyfriend, who passed 16 months ago.
This lady is frequently posting how her daughter will always love him, asking for prayers for her daughter, how she herself will always love him, how she misses him, etc. Lots of #grief #trauma tagging, proverbs and attempts at offering guidance and healing advice. The daughter has posted barely anything along the same lines.
There's no doubt that it is tragic that he passed, but I found it so very weird.
Then another one just now. A guy posting various videos of himself saying "if you need someone to eat with, I'm here", eating his dinner, nodding and simpering at the camera for all of about 6 seconds. Or that's he's there to listen, with his vulnerable mug holding and cosy blanket, again for mere seconds.
I know that I can hide these accounts, and I do, but I think I needed to vent about them.
