One for the Londoners.
I just managed to start a train journey in Cambridge by using a ticket from the machine to enter the system.
BUT once I arrived at London Bridge, instead of using the same ticket to exit, and then tapping back in with my contactless card to take the local train from LB to Crystal Palace, I went into autopilot 🙄 and tapped out using my contactless.
I then, of course, had to tap back in to get to the platforms. What now? If I tap out at CP do I have some weird ghostly tap-out at LB still hanging over me - a half journey? Will I have some maximum fare charged?
Googling on tfl website does not seem to bring up the answer. And I'm already at Brockley...... 😬
