Wedding anniversary break

My husband and I will be celebrating a significant wedding anniversary this summer and we’re looking to go away for a few days, somewhere in the south west of England (Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall).
We’d like a hotel with a good restaurant, somewhere rural with some nice local walks, preferably somewhere child-free.
Any recommendations please?

I would recommend Frome or a village near, loads of good ones. Some nice restaurants and pubs with great food, lots of walks in Mendips, can visit Bath but Frome is lovely too. I'm local btw so this is from experience.

Cirencester, Marlborough?

Not the SW, but I can recommend the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton.

The Scarlet hotel in Cornwall. We went for our honeymoon. Amazing food, child free, beautiful and right on the beach. We stayed for a night in bath on the way down to break up the drive.

The Pig - either in the New Forest or at Combe, Devon

I’d suggest Boringdon Hall just outside Plymouth - not quite rural but right on the edge of Dartmoor for your walks, beautiful spa and Michelin starred restaurant.

Swanage and the surrounding area is lovely.
Cardiff, Bristol or Bath if you'd like more of a city break.
Gower if you like unspoilt beaches
