Off out and look ridiculous

Off out for the first time in a year and I have a dress I tried on and looks fine standing up but looks ridiculous and doesn’t fit properly when I sit down. I know I should have checked but too late to do anything as in a hotel. Might have to try to stand up all night.

People will meet you standing up and form an impression based on that. Beyond that they’ll worry more about themselves than you so won’t notice.

But… if it’s something a few stitches/safety pins/whatever will improve most hotels will still be able to provide such items or point you in the right direction

More a me problem! I should have checked but just hate feeling self conscious.
