Who would you vote for?

Mayoral elections coming up here. Postal vote just recieved, but I'm torn.

Candidate 1: stands for the party whose views I agree with, but is an absolute twat, and has very carefully worded articles about him left right and centre hinting at (believable) massive corruption.

Candidate 2: stands for a party with twatish values, that is very unlikely to be in power next year. But actually, other than his choice of party, has a decent reputation and has had massive impact on the area.

Candidate 3: doesn't stand a chance of getting in

I'm torn between voting for the candidate and voting for the party.
