Kudos to... The Passport Office. Never thought I'd say that but applied easily to update my passport, took my own photo at home, uploaded it online, kept informed literally daily by text and email including when it will be delivered. Absolutely seamless, quick (less than 10 days) and great comms.

Anyone else want to share good impressions of a service or company?

I had great customer service from Sky last month. Got a new phone from them and it froze on the second day. Couldn’t do anything with it at all. They dispatched a new phone the same day, my new phone arrived the next day. And they added extra data to our ‘piggy bank’.

They are easy to get hold of by phone and were super polite, efficient and helpful.

NatWest. When we moved house last year they were brilliant, both online and in the bank.

Le Cruset - replaced a casserole pan where a bit of enamel had chipped off the inside. The pan was at least 25 years old.

Trunki, sent a free of charge replacement for the plastic clip closure that had broken.

Patagonia. DH had a tear in his winter coat, they did a temporary patch straight away in the shop and will organise a free repair when he’s ready.

Nespresso. My aeroccino had broken twice! And they replaced next day with no bother. Amazing service

Yumove (dog joint supplements).

Amazing and compassionate service when my dog died. I let them know she had gone so I needed to stop my subscription. They refunded me for my last box, told me to give it to a dog shelter and then posted me a condolence card with some forget me not seeds. So lovely and I will never forget their kindness. I really rate their joint supplements too, they helped my old dog no end.

I had exactly the same experience with Yumove! So kind and compassionate.

@Goldenphoenix That is absolutely lovely of them. Above and beyond. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Shout out to the independent shops who give amazing service. I recently went to a lovely little kitchenware shop near me and the lady spent at least 20 mins helping me pick out a new frying pan. I probably paid more that I would on Amazon but I love cooking and, as a treat to myself, it was really worth it.

goingdownfighting · 27/04/2024 09:43

@sheroku isn't it lovely to buy something that is long lasting and useful in this way. As I don't need much nowadays I'm going to make a conscious effort to shop like this.

Roberts radio. I spilt water over it which got into the works & stained the cover. They fixed it and replaced the cover free of charge, quickly, no fuss and the radio was about 3 years old at that point. Very impressed.
