Hi

Due to a chance of circumstances I'm having to claim child benefit . I applied on the 6th April , and had text saying they had received my application.
Does anyone know how long the process takes?

You can find out here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/check-when-you-can-expect-a-reply-from-hmrc

I put in your dates and it looks like mid-July. They will backdate up to 3 months from when HMRC "got the claim" - assuming that means from April if eligible.
