I went for a bra fitting at M & S & the lady was really lovely. I liked the third bra I tried on so much that I bought it in 3 colours. Have lost a stone & a half & wearing a decent fitting bra makes me look about another half stone lighter. Real ego boost!

Congrats on the weight loss OP, I'm glad you had such a good experience today.

I had a lovely day out with my 2.5yo today - just the two of us - seeing her so happy and enjoying herself warmed my heart.

I met a cousin who I had never met before- we are both in our 50s!

I spent time with a colleague who I think might become a friend.

I ate a big frog at work and now I don't have to think about it next week!

I had an amazing day at work sorting shit out before the election next week. My to do list is half the size.

WhamBamThankU · 26/04/2024 21:42

I finished work early, and am now in pyjamas with very cold Prosecco!

My DP got back from working abroad for a fortnight, and is currently cuddled up with our new rescue cat on the sofa.

Hoglet70 please elaborate……!

I left work earlier than usual today, then dh, ds and I went for a lovely dog walk on the bay, stopped for a pint at the pub and then had fish and chips. Nice end to the week!

I was good at my (new) job today; I really feel the value of my experience when I talk to my younger team members.

Then I played the drums for two solid hours, really fast, and now can hardly move my shoulders, but it's sore in the best way.

I had a good pottering day at home yesterday and then went to my tap class in the evening - ached like mad after it! Just sitting in bed now with DH - I’m scrolling MN and he’s reading his book. All peaceful. It’s lovely.

Ds rode his bike for the first time. He's 8 and has barely looked at the bike we bought him for his birthday a few months ago. But agreed to have a try, and although he needs to build up some confidence and steering skills, he actually pedalled independently for a few seconds.
