Wallpaper question

Probably a really stupid question but here goes. If the wallpaper measuring tool online says I will need 4 rolls of paper with 1 drop left over. Do you think that leaves enough for mistakes or should I order a spare full roll?

Reason for question is the wallpaper is a bit on the more spendy side, however, it is currently on offer. I haven’t actually got a decorator yet so I have nobody that I can ask but thought I could order it whilst on offer and just have it ready for when I have actually got a decorator.

check out the returns as they usually accept it back. I like an extra roll, but I buy really cheap anyway.

I use it for lining drawers, wardrobe doors, picture frames etc.

Have you accounted for pattern matching in that? We probable lost a whole drop because of pattern matching when doing a chimney breast.

Unfortunately, it says no returns because it’s printed to order.

To be honest, I just assumed that was what the online calculator did. Does it not work it out for pattern matching? Arghh that’s an absolute pain because I would have no idea

I would hope a decorator wouldn't mess up a drop of wallpaper!
If I was doing it myself, I'd order the extra for sure.
If I was paying someone, I think I'd get what was required.

Thank you. I’ve just had a look at the page properly and it says the wallpaper calculator allows for pattern matching etc. so at least that is covered.

I definitely won’t be doing it myself, I am rubbish at things like this. My late DM always did our decorating when growing up.
