This afternoon I conversed in French with someone on Etsy. It was very basic but I'm so shy about trying out my French than I normally avoid such situations.

What win did you have today?

A literal win in a game of battleship with my partner. Also whooped him at Yahtzee. Next up, Hungry hippos

My work to do list is in net positve today because I completed more things than what was added to it.

My shy and anxious little girl had her first day at brownies.... she absolutely loved it!

I had a good swimming session this morning. I'm not good at swimming and not fit, but I managed a full half hour of swimming lengths. That's a lot for me!

My b12 loading doses have been booked in today. I've been arguing an active deficiency for 6 years and my bloods finally dropped (plummeted!)below their 'threshold for treatment '.

Day 1 of low carb done. 1300 cals. Now just need to repeat ad infinitum!

DH had an urgent suspected cancer referral at hospital today but got a complete all clear so am over the fricking moon 😊

And a cancer all-clear for my partner, too. Such a relief!

It was actually yesterday, but got confirmation I've successfully kept my job through a restructure. So sad to see good colleagues go but so relieved.

I weighed myself yesterday and I've finally lost the 10lb I've halfheartedly been trying to lose for ages.

I weighed myself this morning and I am back to my pre egg freezing weight 2 weeks after the procedure. So great to feel like myself again. 😊

(I was like a balloon from all the hormonal bloating and put on extra weight from not being able to exercise.)

Was actually Friday morning but I weighed myself and I’ve finally reached my target weight. It’s taken me such a long time and I haven’t found it easy but that just makes it more of an achievement I suppose.
Now for the really hard part…… keeping it off

I made pancakes for breakfast and the first one was fine!

My toddler's been having loads of meltdowns lately, but after he's done "expressing himself" he comes and asks me to dry his tears. Then we cuddle.

idk, it just feels like a parenting win.
