The music is dire, at this stage Maccie D’S is starting to look attractive as a career trajectory. ??????

I feel like I’m missing something here

Overtheatlantic · 25/04/2024 22:10

How is listening to Classic fm a career trajectory? Anyway I love it.

Twofifty · 25/04/2024 22:10

I can't listen anymore as my dab radio isn't new enough. What happened?

What's wrong with it? I'm listening to it right now and it's fine. Just put something else on 🙄

EnidsOTHERBretonTop · 25/04/2024 22:14

So... Put something else on? There's a whole world of music out there for you to discover that won't make you feel it's necessary to make self harm jokes on the internet.

LauderSyme · 25/04/2024 22:21

Ah OK, so the music is designed for listening to whilst revising, but is awful therefore one would cease revising (rather than just turn the radio off?), thereby failing one's exams and having to work at McDonald's due to lack of qualifications?

Got it. But where do the razor blades come into it? Suicide owing to one shit radio station is rather a jarring stretch.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 25/04/2024 22:23

Seems fine to me.

PickAChew · 25/04/2024 22:25

😨🤷🏻‍♀️

geoger · 25/04/2024 22:26

Radio 3 all day long

Kentuckycriedfrickin · 25/04/2024 22:57

Nothing wrong with working at McDonald's. They pay above minimum wage, feed their staff, have a decent staff rewards scheme and they invest in staff training with most promotions coming from internal recruitment.

Why would you think McDonald's employee = thick and/or poorly qualified?

EnidsOTHERBretonTop · 26/04/2024 13:09

There is is always one. 🙄

This is a very valid point. Threatening people wirh ‘you’ll end up working in McDonald’s/on the till at tesco) is so bloody rude to people who do those jobs!
