Young men walking around with their hand down the front of their trousers

I keep seeing young guys walking around, usually in joggers, with their hand down the front of their trousers.

This must be ‘cool’.

Is it not a bit creepy?

It’s vile.

Not for the first time I give thanks that, as a woman, I don't have to keep checking that my dick hasn't fallen off.

Redshoeblueshoe · 25/04/2024 20:12

I often feel like saying it won't drop off if you let go.

The exact reason why I will never pick up a student’s pen 🤮

DolceGustoooohCoffee · 25/04/2024 20:14

I find it incredibly gross and often tell them to get their hands off their junk in the same tone I use when my 2 year old plays with her nappy, usual makes them embarrassed enough to stop.

Where is Joyce Grenfell when you need her?

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I expect it's warm and cosy in there (but have no intention of investigating!)

KatParr · 25/04/2024 20:23

I've seen this. Usually involving all-black clothing and hoods up regardless of the weather? The hand down the front of the joggers is supposed to indicate they're carrying a knife (or gun presumably) regardless of whether they are or not. Pfft.

Oh is that what they’re trying to show.

If I see a man walking towards me fiddling with the waistband of his trousers, experience tells me he might be about to try and flash me.

I wonder what the ladies in their life think of this!

I used to do youth work in Saaf Laandon and regularly had to say, "get your hand out and wash it before we cook" to the sweet young men I worked with. They'd walk around outside with their hand down their joggers, scowling, limpy walking. Then they'd come into the place, smile, 10 years would drop off them and they'd be all, "yes Mrs Patterson".

We forget these are children, pretending to be men to protect themselves.

I don't think it is a regional thing, it is very common.
It is bloody grim!

Longtime fan of yours MTP but this is one of the most sensible comments I’ve seen on here in ages.

As I said I've never seen it but as I said before, I don't really do public transport or walk the streets - I will look out for it😂😂😂😂 just jesting 😂

Its disgusting. What I have noted is those that were those baggy jogging pants, it looks gross and often think, have they not checked the mirror before coming out

I always want to say, it's still there🤣

SirChenjins · 25/04/2024 20:50

It’s disgusting and it drives me up the wall when I see my teen doing it - I tell him to go and wash his hands after he’s checked it’s still attached. Revolting - and he was not raised that way at all.
