I've got an exam next week and it's all handwritten! I am hypermobile and also have RSI (from too much phone doomscrolling ) so am looking for the comfiest, easiest pen that I can buy to see me through 3 hours. Hit me with suggestions please!

Parker jotter with a gel ink cartridge. I do a lot of writing and it is fast, smooth and comfortable.

DS has hypermobility in his hands and wrists and has long university exams where he has to write at speed (can't type as most of it is equations / maths).
For him, the most comfortable is Stabilo Easy (handwriting pen) followed by Lamy Safari (fountain pen).

I like the Papermate Inkjoy gel pens for a smooth write.

The only pen I can write with without wrist pain:

Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V 5

WH Smiths do them in packs of 3 and I think I’ve seen them in Tesco. About £10 I think. V5 is much smoother than the same make, V 7 .

If you get them, just check before your exam that they work for you and good luck!

Brilliant. Thanks all, I might just get your suggestions and try them all. Can never have too many pens!
