Confronted you in an angry manner in front of a packed waiting room would it upset you?

This happened to me this morning and I quite shook up about it tbh.

Depends why but in most circumstances this would be unprofessional.

yes, I'd be furious. Unless
there was very good reason.

I went to reception after my appointment and said oh the dentist said I was to see "Amy" instead at my next appointment who is she he never told me.

Receptionist said it was another dentist (Amy had been in the consultation room ) oh right I said then jokily said we were never introduced I wasn't sure if she was a hygienist.

I realised I'd forgot my bank card so nipped home.When I came back the dentist was waiting in the open plan reception and tried to rip me a new one by saying the appointment was with him and I didn't need to be introduced to her then and that he had told me it was another dentist starting soon.

He didn't.

Absolute arrogant idiot he was raging.I bet he wouldn't have been so unprofessional to a man.

Can you move dentist? I had something similar happen - older male dentist that I'd had since I had teeth. I think he thought I was still a child.

Yes I would say it was very unprofessional and very unnecessary, more so in a public area

Not nice . I’m a doctor and didn’t appreciate a patient calling me a c* goggly eyes and threatening to punch my head in in the waiting area either today!
