What are the chances of Ticketmaster refunding my resale Shania Twain tickets?

Hello all

I booked 2 tickets for Stirling Summer Sessions on Tues 2 July.

I can't go now.

I've listed the tickets for resale through Ticketmaster.

It seems someone has to buy them before I can get the money back.

It seems there are still "normal" tickets available as well as "resale" ones.

Is it likely the money is lost? Especially if the concert doesn't sell out?

Thanks

They won't refund you unless they're sold. Did you take out the insurance? (Although not sure of the T&C for that).

Maybe try Twickets? I've bought and sold on there. It's face value or less so you'll lose some money but better than getting nothing back.

I just had a look on Twickets out of interest and it's showing as low availability so may be worth a punt.

Thanks. No I didn't take out the insurance. I don't often go to concerts so am pretty naive to all this stuff.

Does that mean it's low availability for the concert as a whole or just on Twickets?

Is Twickets a legit site?

Twickets is legit but if there are still tickets available via Ticketmaster or whoever, I doubt anyone would be looking at a resale site like Twickets first.

Yes! It's one of the few that's accepted by the ticketing sites because it's not scalping, there was a big thing with Ed Sheeran a few years ago. I've never had any issues using it, it's a lot easier if you have e-tickets though. I found it really stressful when I had paper tickets but that may just be me 😊

I've had a look in the past because it's cheaper than using the Ticketmaster resale but I suppose it relies on people thinking/knowing to do that.

Thanks, that was literally my next question. I appear to only be able to list them for resale on either Ticketmaster or Twickets at any one time.

I suppose for Ticketmaster if there are normal tickets still available people will just buy those.

It will only be the canny folk looking for a bargain that will look on Twickets.

It's still quite far in advance to be honest so perhaps it will sell closer to the time.

Thanks for your help with this!
