Experiences of Bowleaze or Woolacombe Bay holiday parks?

We are looking at bowleaze cove or woolacombe bay holiday park for our summer hols this year. We live in Scotland and know nothing about either base, or which one has the nicest surrounding area. Has anyone been to either and had a good/bad experience? Thanks!

I’ve not stayed at holiday parks but know both areas well.
Bowleaze Court seems to be part of Osmington which is used by lots of schools for residential trips . Activities provided seem to be good.
The area is lovely, I’ve even diverted to drive along the coast it’s so beautiful. Weymouth is a typical seaside resort , compact, pretty harbour. Dorchester is probably 30 minutes by car or you can go by train. Dinosaur museum, well worth going on market day ( Wednesday)
Abbotsbury is close by, beautiful scenery ( you can see where Thomas Hardy got his inspiration from) Abbotsbury Swannery is worth a visit.
Woolacombe is probably the more remote. I found Ilfracombe a bit run down last time I was there but it was out of season. Bude is a lovely town. There seemed to be a lot of moorland travel between towns.

For prettiness I’d go for Dorset, for windswept moorland it’s North Devon.

I first went to Woolacombe Bay around 30 years ago as a young teenager. The Radio 1 road show was on, we did horse riding, the beach, the club house in the evenings, I went back about 7 years ago. There is absolutely nothing there in the town/beach area. We waited an hour for a taxi as there was only 1 local/independent guy with a taxi. It was not out of season. I would never go back.

Cornwall is by far much better and has loads to do/going on.

Edited to add we stayed at Woolacombe Bay holiday park on both occasions. The park is fine (from what I remember).
