Ordering from Amazon US

Does anyone have experience of ordering from Amazon US to UK? I notice it adds on delivery and VAT at the time of purchase but will customs charge an additonal fee when it arrives?

I have for small things. I think if it’s under the rule re value they don’t. I bought a costume ring, board games( that kind of thing).

Yes several times, I’ve never paid duty etc, it is just delivered in the time scale given in the normal Amazon way.

I have done it once for just over £100 and didn't have to pay anything extra.
