Swimming costumes for big boobs and large tummys

Hi. This is a very lazy post as I’m hoping you all do the work for me as I’m struggling with lack of time. I’m off on holiday in two weeks and need a couple of affordable swimsuits that are supportive but also hide the tummy.

I’m an E cup with a c section overhang, size 14 and only 5 foot 3. I like bravissimo but as I’m still on mat leave I can’t afford £45 for one costume. I need something more affordable. I had a look in M&S today but didn’t really see anything I liked.

Anyone found anything that works and isn’t plain black?!

I always used to go to Simply Be for swimwear as it has a lot of structure to hold me in place 🤣 but prices have shot up this year. I’m 14-16 with a mum tum and took a punt on this from Shein (no judgement please). I was really impressed with it.

Cotton Traders? I was happy with their tummy control illusion swimsuit . I liked the higher back to reduce overspill.

I bought a swimming top and then some swimming bottoms from Amazon so I could get the sizing right.

I like the Joules jasmine ones, decent cups and halter so can be adjusted for the right amount of lift, and a bit of ruching(?) across the tummy they're made from good thick material as well so hold you in where needed. I've just ordered this one, it's in the sale £20 off

I got some lovely swimwear from Shein however after a couple of days wearing them they stretched so badly. I had absolutely no support in them and really felt quite embarrassed wearing them. I'd avoid if I were you.

Sale in House of Fraser or Simple Be often have good deals on brands for bigger busts eg Fantasie

Figleaves Taylor halter neck swimsuit. I actually feel ok wearing this whereas my previous one made me want to run and hide. You should be able to find one in the sale as it's not a new style. I'm on my second one as I loved it so much. I'm also 5ft3, size 12, 30G and with a cosy layer of wobbly insulation and c section overhang.

If you see one you like on bravissimo or one of the other more expensive brands try searching the that one in your size on Vinted - I do this all the time 🙂

Look for a blouson tankini. I have them from Brastop (best for cup size costumes) Amazon and Temu.

I also buy shorts bottoms for my fat thighs

I've bought some nice ones on cupshe, was pleasantly surprised with the quality, and felt really comfortable in them.

Quality is good too. I swim most days and have been looking to replace my aging swimsuits - they have lots to choose from.

Sainsburys TU! Was literally recommending these to my hairdresser earlier! Smooth the tummy, flattering styles and patterns, good boob support and cleavage.

Thank you for the recommendations. I found a good one at M&S which was only £29.50 with good tummy touching and nice and supportive. Found a nice beach cover up there too so am sorted. Thanks everyone.
