Can anyone decipher a dream I had?

Does anyone read dreams or know what things mean in dreams. I had a really disturbing dream that I was with dhs family and his mum was putting him in a suitcase and locking him in a whole underground the house. He went in willingly and something to do with he needed to do it for some reason to do with the family. Everyone was upset. But he went in and got locked up and he had to be there for weeks. Noone expected him to survive and I was crying imagining the awful pain he was in and hunger cramps and not being able to move and being alone and the torture. I couldn't stand it and begged them to get him out but they wouldn't and then when they did it was for some reason but they expected him dead and he was alive but skeletal and weak. I fed him and looked after him and was nursing him back to ehalth but then I woke. I couldn't shake how awful and real it was. I actually thought it was real even after waking and thought ill have to go check on him see how he is
Even when I saw he was fine I was like... Did that happen? Then I must have come around and realised it was a dream. But 3 days later I'm still thinking about it and feeling wierd. It was so so horrible and real.

Anxiety. I have very perilous dreams when I'm anxious

Sounds like you have an issue where you feel powerless/out of control and the dream built on that; it may or may not have to do with his family or that could just be where it went from recent events.

It’s just a dream. Dreams are usually made up from thoughts & feelings you have, plus things you’ve been exposed to recently - like snippets of overheard conversations or something you’ve seen on TV.

This could be about your in-laws, what’s your relationship is like with them as this dream is very negative towards them. But equally it may not be about them at all, your husband could represent something else that you love that you feel is being taken away, or a friendship you feel you are loosing. It may be a manifestation of anxiety or feeling out of control, or it could be none of those.

last night I dreamt I was trying to rescue a raccoon that was trapped inside a lit wood burning stove, but it wouldn’t come out because it was scared of me. No idea what that was about, or where it came from 😆

Not really much of a relationship with hiss parents tbh. His mums side we never see but maybe ive thought about them more as his half sister from his mums side is coming to stay.

I dreamt about going up a long staircase and having two people explaining two religions as we were ascending...I'm not religious.
