Taylor Swift Resale Tickets

Has anyone had any luck with buying resale through Ticketmaster or Axa? I don't know if we registered properly or maybe just didn't get a code. We have been looking for months but have a very disappointed 13 year old!

Everyone she knows seems to have managed to get tickets!

There is no way that everyone she knows has got tickets. They are like gold dust! So don't get sucked in by that.

Don't get desperate and try to buy from an unofficial resale site. Tickets are not yet transferable so anyone holding tickets that they don't want cannot physically transfer them to you.

Unfortunately you just have to keep trying Ticketmaster and AXS resales and hope you get (very) lucky.

some great advice above. Better to miss out on the tour, than to miss out on it and have been scammed. Obsessively check TM and AXS, every time you can, it's a matter of luck in timing being the person to check at the moment some get uploaded (from what I understand there is no set time to be looking, it is random).

Like PP says there is no way everyone she knows has tickets - might be in the mind of a disappointed 13yo, the same I was the only person without a Fred Perry jumper when I was 12. Bear in mind some of her friends who have tickets may have actually been scammed.

The other advice I would give is let everyone (friends, family, colleagues, neighbours...) know you want tickets and that if they have them you want to be their first reserve. The demand is just crazy to the point that purchased then unwanted tickets in many cases will never end up on official release as people are queuing up to take them off your hands. Between the group of 3 I am going with we have 20 friends saying they will snap our hands off if we can no longer attend.

We had the same recently in Australia.
’Everyone’ apparently got tickets.
Listen out for competitions on the radio. Lots of tickets here were given away.

Thank you all! Should have worded it better, when I say everyone she knows, her group of 6 friends all managed to get one! I know all of their mums and they did exactly the same as what we did. I guess it’s just luck and dedication!!

It is definitely just luck.

I got tickets because I had bought the Midnights album CD in the presale, which gave me an access code for the first round of selling. I also registered for all the UK venues sales codes, as a belt and braces approach, and I didn't get a single one. Nor did two of my friends who didn't have a midnights code. Very luckily I only needed to buy two tickets of my allocation of four, so I could buy the other two for one of my friends and her daughter. I will transfer these to her when it becomes available, which it isn't yet. The other friend is still trying with the official resale, just logging in a few times a day in the hope something may come up because there isn't any other way of getting tickets.

They go very fast. I listed 2 last month via Ticketmaster resale which I bought last year for £360 and didn’t think I’d get the full amount back. They sold within 2 minutes. I don’t know how people are managing to buy them eg if they have an alert set up, or an automatic buy order or similar, or if they are just waiting and refreshing.
