Can anyone recommend somewhere which is "luxury" in the Canaries, but also family friendly? Everything I look up seems to be adults-only. Thanks.

Ritz Carlton Tenerife

Bahia del Duque also Tenerife (nice location)

Baobab Suites if you wanted more space (an apartment with pool)

Hotel Suites Villa Maria is not luxury but I would still take a look

Princessa Yaiza on Lanzarote

Thank you. I think, by luxury, I am meaning something a bit more bijou rather than those enormous resorts in Lanzarote with hundreds of people....

The Barcelo Corelejo Sands is not exactly luxury but we had one of our best holidays there - it's 4* and has amazing area for kids.

Sensatori resorts are good.

PhuckyNell · 23/04/2024 12:30

Do you mean bijou or bougie 😂

Armchairs · 23/04/2024 12:41

That perfectly described what I'm looking for in a holiday - bijou and bougie!

BuildingBlock · 23/04/2024 12:59

Haha yes exactly! Both bijou and boujie!

You're aware of the locals protesting re influx of tourists

mitogoshi · 23/04/2024 15:55

Depends whether you need childcare etc. generally hotels need to be a certain size to have a kids programme. I've stayed in a few places which have multiple restaurants you book via an app making it better than those with just buffets.
