When to send wedding gift?

Hello. We are rsvp'ing that we are not attending (due to distance) the wedding of a friend.
The wedding is at the middle of August, when should we send the gift? I was thinking end of July? Is that ok?

Any time. A gift isn't required and shouldn't be expected if you aren't attending so there's no right or wrong answer. It's a nice gesture you're making so it doesn't matter when you do it.
