Waiting to hear back about a job- anyone else?

I'm waiting to hear back about a job I really want. I had the final stage interview on Friday. They said early next week. Nothing today .
Anyone else waiting and want to keep me company?

Yes, I'm waiting. Was supposed to hear either on Friday or today, but haven't heard yet.
I'm not feeling confident after the interview tho 🤦🏻‍♀️

@OrigamiOwls fingers crossed for you. Sometimes the best jobs are ones you haven't done well in the interview.
It's the waiting that's the worst. I just want to know one way or the other.

@OrigamiOwls I know at this point I'd rather have a no. I keep checking my emails. I'm thinking they'll phone if it's a yes and email if it's a no.
I hope to god they don't ghost me! 👻

I'm never really sure why this part takes so long. They must know who their preferred candidate it (and in my case it's internal so there won't be any issues with the candidate needing to think it over)
