Weekend/night away

If you were able to have a child/family night or weekend away on your own where would you go? SE so not too far. I never get to have time out. DP does often. My friends I used to do this with have moved on and are not in a position to do it any longer. I thinking of going on my own. Sleep. Walk. Read. Eat.

A really nice hotel near lovely walks and with treatments if you want them. I love the area around the Devil's Punchbowl, Frensham Ponds etc. Sadly I can't think of a REALLY nice hotel in the area.....

I don't know the South East well enough, but I do this often enough. I usually get an Airbnb near ish to the sea (I'm not a hotel person). Coastal walks, sea swims, maybe a spa visit, a few nice quiet solo meals out.

I also just as often go to Spain for a city break for weekend, do museums, nice meals, cafes, walking around, markets, maybe a spa. It's lovely.
