How has your Sunday been?

DD and I were up at 8am. Unprecedented. She watched telly and I did some stuff for work and then we headed off to Tim Horton for lunch. Just opened! Bought a hair dryer as ours died yesterday. Potted up some plants this afternoon and had a visit with a friend. How have you spent your Sunday afternoon?

Got up and saw how gorgeous it was outside, so we went for a drive to the forest. Wore my mushroom dress and mushroom witch hat. Foraged some gorgeous sticks, took some gorgeous photos. Found some birch polypore! Saw some ponies and deer tracks. Came home, had fun with DD being silly. Ate food, put her to bed and shagged DH on the sofa.

Now eating home made cookies while watching the 90s X-Men cartoon.

We have had a great day.

We are on holiday in London.
We went out for a full traditional English breakfast at a nice cafe in Camden Town. Dd2 and ds had waffles and pancakes.

We went for a church service and took a long walk at Regent's park. Lots of beautiful flowers and happy dogs. Spent time at a playground for dd2 to play with ds (he is at university - she is in primary school).
Dh, dd2 and ds had sandwichs and ice creams at the park's refeshments. I had a cup of tea. We had sunshine!
We walk to British Museum - we spent 3 hours at different exhibitions. Found 3 intersting books in the museum shop. Lovely afternoon.
Found the Underground - it's so much fun as a visitor to ride it.
We went out for dinner at a nice restaurant. Good food and nice staff.
Walked back to our hotel. I had a shower. So did all family members. Dh and I had a glass of wine, kids fizzy drinks and we had fresh fruit and watched a family film together.
Just put dd2 to bed and off myself in a minute.

Same as you.. potted up a few plants and went down to the back of the garden and found some perennials in pots and set some lettuce and spinach

cooked roast beef and went to s football match (really enjoyed it)
