Bed wetting 9 year old

My 9 year old DD was dry at night since she was 3 but over the last few weeks she has wet the bed several times.
i have taken her to the Dr and it is not a UTI.
There doesn’t seem to be anything causing her particular stress.
Any ideas? I’m worried.
Thank you

That’s upsetting but I don’t think it’s unusual to go through these periods.

Just have a stack of clean sheets close by, change of jammies and pants, additional duvet if need be. This way she can change during the night without having to alert you, which she maybe embarrassed about it.

Im sure it will resolve itself in time. Just keep an eye out for any issues at school etc.

Did the doctor test for type 1 diabetes?

No but I will ask. She doesn’t seem aware that she’s done it but I’m not sure if it’s because she’s embarrassed. She’s very honest though so I would be surprised

Has there been a change in what she is eating/ drinking? My DS10 is more prone to accidents if he has blackcurrant juice after 6pm. He used to also have them if he gets too hot as he falls into a deeper sleep and doesn’t wake up on time.
I try to downplay them as if he is worried about an accident he tends to have

but yes do make sure to rule out anything medical where you can.
