So I've always worked in places I've loved and my colleagues have been great.
Last couple of yrs been in the dullest nasty place ever.
Bullying,toxic nasty and draining.
I've reported them with a reprieve for a while then back to underhanded behaviour.Such a lonely time.🥲
Been to lots of interviews but hours not right,or pay or location.
Today I was offered a dream job in a great location with same paymore holidays some w ends to work but that's cool .
I've done my skills test and accepted as they appear friendly, engaged and nice.
I believe if you look hard enough you will find what u are looking for.

Congratulations! I hope it's as good as it seems.

I ran into a colleague as I was leaving work the day before an internal interview a couple of years ago). 10 years previously he and I had the same role in different patches, then I started a family and he went for the career ladder as hard as he could. He'd been mentoring me a bit to get back on track. His advice was "be yourself, and when you're offered the job, it'll be the right one for you". Sounds like that's what has happened !

Congratulations. There’s nothing worse than a toxic work place.

I think it’s great that you realised the toxicity and left. I worked in a place years ago; it was a big employer in a small town. People basically stayed because they all lived within 10 minutes walk. Everyone who left said it was the best thing they’d ever done.
