Someone is claiming they have received a letter at their address (no connection to friend) showing someone tried to set up a UC claim in my friends name.
Friend has not claimed UC.
Friend previously tried to claim UC in 2020 from their then address, but had online notification that the claim was not progressed and was closed, as they didn't do things in time.
Their last online communication with UC is a notification saying the above.
If someone had tried to set up a fraudulent claim in friends name recently at a different address would it automatically show up on the old claim online account?
