Hotels and Parking near Heathrow - Odd Question

Posting here for traffic....

My In Laws are flying from Heathrow in a few weeks and want to stay at a hotel the night before as they have a morning flight. However, they would prefer not to stay in a hotel at the airport itself as they are a bit worried about getting lost/confused in the airport. They would rather stay somewhere reasonably close that has parking where they could leave the car for 2 weeks and get a taxi to the airport.

Does anyone know of a hotel that offers this or has done something similar? I've been googling and nothing has leapt out at me. I suspect that all the hotels inside the airport would be fine for this but they are hoping for something different!

I've never used this before, but the prices are quite reasonable

We did Stay, Park and Fly at tte Thistle Hotel, Heathrow.

We found the hotel great and the car stays in the hotel car park with plenty of security. We got the shuttle bus to Terminal 5 and the Pod back, but equally they could get a taxi if it's less complicated.

The only thing is that the hotel is on two floors and has no lift. You can ask for ground floor rooms, but the restaurant is on the upper floor.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu in October the night before we flew and were able to leave the car there for the 11 days we were away. We chose to get the Hoppa bus to the airport.

I'm pretty sure Holiday Extras does a hotel with parking and it's the one I used in October. I can't give you a link because it keeps going to my account!

Always stay here, nice hotel, never had an issue. We park and get a taxi to airport in the morning, it is on the bus route though. Taxi about £15-£20.

That looks ideal, thanks so much to both of you. The lack of lift wont be a problem (they're fitter than me!!)

Oh, and if the weather is fine, the terrace outside the restaurant at the Thistle is brilliant for plane watching with a drink in hand.
