I've cleaned the filter out but still having problems. Any ideas, please?

Is it definitely getting hot?
The board went on mine which stopped it heating up. They were coming out greasy and minging before we realised

Yes, definitely hot.

If you take bits out and they feel slimy even after cleaning them, they have biofilm on them and that takes a bit more effort to get properly clean - you need to give it some real elbow grease. But worth doing because biofilm is nasty stuff.

They don't feel slimy, just visibly still have food on.

Remove spray arms and rinse them through. Often the holes get clogged.

<eyes dishwasher, decides to stay on sofa for now and do it tomorrow>

I didn't know there were so many removable bits.

Wow! Thanks for the previous posts -
I’ve learned so much.
The prongs on ours rusted so DH ordered some covers from a well-known online retailer which have done the trick.
An engineer once recommended acetic acid on a service wash with the machine emptied to get rid of the greasy/dog coat smell - it works really well.

Citric acid, not acetic acid!

Is it both rows that are not cleaning properly or just one?

Are both arms spinning? During a wash you can open the door and you'll probably see the arm still moving or else note the position of the arms and close for a minute (during wash) and reopen and see if they've moved?
