Amazon returnless refund

I received a faulty item, went through refund process & Amazon offered a returnless refund if I accepted the funds on to my Amazon balance. Okay, cool, that suits me.

However, where do I see my Amazon balance & is it instant? Also can I use this for any item that's dispatched by Amazon?

It normally appears for me when I go to pay for something else. I get the option to pay with the refund.

Thanks, that's what I expected but can't see anything. I'll give it a day or two then contact Amazon. It was supposed to be the fast easy option!

Click on Your Account, then "Gift cards". You'll see the amount as an Amazon refund, and then when you pay for your next item it'll be listed there as a 'gift card' payment.
