3 under 6 and feeling a bit stressed! Moving house in the next few weeks and whilst we are paying people to pack the boxes, I feel very overwhelmed right now. Has anyone got any top tips for moving with 3 little ones? Oldest will be in school. Thanks.

Can you bribe anyone to take the other 2 out for the day ?

Yes I think we can. Hopefully grandparents will!

Just let it wash over you.
Sounds trite, but that's what I had to do.

We were being relocated . Company paid for packing and unpacking.

We were due to move on Friday , like most.
On the previous Monday I visited my GP with feeding concerns re my three week old baby. ( HV were useless... sorry to any HVs who might read this.)
My GP ordered me straight to hospital and phoned them there and then.
I went and then spent three days in hospital with my poorly baby. My toddler was at home with husband whilst a team boxed up our home.
Home Thursday evening to box city . Friday move.
Saturday , all sorted.
The stress of it was just in my head. The move was smooth.
We just ensured that essentials for our children , plus a kettle and emergency food went in our car.

It might seem daunting but it will be fine. You'll be fine.

I agree, I had a thread like this. We did our best but ultimately, you just have to let the day happen to you. It's largely out of your control.

Oh, and get rid of the kids of course!

I moved with three under five no one at school or nursery. Friends had the older two for part of the day. Five weeks old baby slept in the pram under the stairs so nothing could be dropped on him! It was a long time ago before there was a definite time to get the keys. The previous owner was finishing up and I just asked to come in as the baby needed feeding!Parents came down for one day to help we paid for packing although they were a bit rubbish and my dad and husband had to help unload the lorry but it happened we all survived.

@Hopefullymovinghouse you're on someone else's slightly old thread, suggest you post a new thread in Property and DIY - good luck!
