Does my partner have to look for work if I'm self employed and meet the threshold

Is there a reason he can't ? Like looking after young children ? I think they are raising the couples earnings thresholds soon if they haven't already done so.

Earnings threshold doesn’t work the same way for self employed people as it does for employed people - I would look online,
or Facebook benefits groups, for specific information for self employed claimants.
