Career change help

I want to change my career once my maternity leave comes to an end but need some ideas/ inspiration.

I've been a pub and restaurant manager for the last 7 years but need something with more family friendly hours now. I'm also keen to have a second child sooner rather than later so would prefer a position with the flexibility to go part time in the future.

Possible relevant information

  • I have a health and social care degree
  • As part of management responsibilities I also did certain paperwork for the businesses such as accounting spreadsheets and payroll
  • I have time to undertake a short course/ qualification if that would aid getting a job but anything that require full time/ long term training is unfortunately out at the minute
  • I enjoy organising, problem solving and working with customers
  • I would be happy working at home or onsite (although flexibility would definitely be a plus)

Tia for any suggestions

Care home manager? I have no idea what that entails but it’s an idea nonetheless

Thank you, definitely a good idea to look into. I actually did some work as a carer during lockdown as my usual job couldn't open and I did enjoy it
